Mass Media Definition

Mass media refers to communications that can influence large number of people. Examples include news, magazine, book, TV, the Internet, radio, podcast, forum, propaganda and film. It is very public and easily accessible to the people. Although mass media can be used to spread new information effectively, some people use them to gain great power. For example, Mao Zedong and Stalin used propagandas to brainwash the citizens.
